Job summary
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Ringaskiddy, Ireland, invites an experienced GET Automation Principal Engineer to lead site automation systems, including OT infrastructure, building automation and DeltaV process control, and to shape lifecycle management, cybersecurity, and technology adoption.
Based at the Ringaskiddy site, you will develop multi-year roadmaps, manage budgets, engage stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with Credo standards and GMP
Qualifications
- Third level degree in engineering, science or IT
- Minimum of 5 years of Leadership and Delivery Execution
- Minimum of 8 years of experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience in supervision/management of people and resources
- In-depth technical knowledge of S95 Level 1 systems (DeltaV, PLCs, IT infra)
- Strong understanding of ISA-95/ISAS88 standards and industry 4.0/IIoT trends
Responsibilities
- Lead lifecycle management, governance and continuous improvement of critical automation systems
- Develop, manage and control project budgets and CARs
- Own multi-year roadmaps for industrial automation systems and drive cybersecurity resilience
- Lead stakeholder engagement to ensure automation supports manufacturing and compliance
- Provide training and ensure safe execution of activities in Automation systems area
