Job summary

Crosscare, Dublin, is seeking a Social Policy and Communications Officer to deliver the Irish Diaspora Support Project's policy and communications work for Irish citizens in migration. You will work in a small team, with on-site training and regular meetings, focusing on policy development and public engagement.

The role is based in Dublin city centre, full-time hybrid, requiring 60% in-person presence. Applicants must be resident in Ireland for the duration of the role.

Qualifications

• Degree / postgraduate qualification in social sciences or equivalent.
• Fluent English with strong writing and editing skills.
• Previous experience in social policy and/or communications.

Responsibilities

• Policy and Advocacy: develop policy initiatives, research, and liaise with stakeholders.
• Communications: support digital/traditional media and draft briefing materials.
• Organisational: teamwork, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to data protection.
