Job summary

Diageo seeks a Christmas Merchandiser to replenish stock for Beer and Spirits and maximise promotional space. You will work with store managers to deliver high visibility and set up POS displays.

Responsibilities include following journey plans, ensuring planogram adherence, recording sales activity, pricing, and capturing photos. A company vehicle is provided, with a daily rate of 105€ and a 9€ lunch allowance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to journey plans given by line manager.
• Ensure merchandising guidelines with emphasis on planogram compliance and promotional space.
• Record relevant sales and merchandiser requirements and provide feedback.
• Ensure correct SEL placement and pricing of products.
• Merchandise promotional ends and ensure pricing is correct.
• Capture before/after photographs on a handheld device.
• Liaise with store manager prior to leaving and ensure satisfaction.
• Build strong relationships to work as a team.
• Maintain CPM and client standards and policies.
• Undertake any other duties as instructed.

Job description

Reporting to the Diageo THT Regional Sales Manager, the Christmas Merchandiser role will involve working as part of a team to deliver high visibility for the client. Core focus for the role would be to replenish Diageo stock for Beer and Spirits on shelves and promotional locations.

Merchandisers will be expected to work on their own initiative and build strong relationships with store managers and achieve additional secondary displays using POS provided.

Responsibilities:

• To adhere to journey plans given by line manager
• To ensure that all merchandising guidelines are being adhered to with emphasis on Planogram compliance, maximising promotional space and negotiating with Store Manager
• Record relevant sales and merchandiser requirements, competitor activity and provide feedback in a timely manner
• Ensure all products have correct SEL placed in front of the product;
• Merchandise all promotional ends and ensure correct pricing is in place;
• Capture before and after photographs on a handheld device
• Liaise with store manager prior to leaving ensure they are happy with work completed;
• Build strong relationships with all parties to work together as a team;
• To maintain all CPM and client standards and policies
• To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers
• To ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager
