Job summary

SETU is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising and philanthropy functions. You will manage administration, systems, data, and processes that underpin donations and partnerships, ensuring operational stability for the Development & Alumni Manager and Alumni Officer.

Job description

• Contract: 6 months wholetime specified purpose contract - with possibility of extension of a further six months
• Salary: The gross salary scale applicable to the grade of Staff Officer is €52,763 - €63,107 p.a on a full-time basis (rates effective 01/06/2026). For contract durations of less than 12 months, the salary will be pro-rata.

As the Development Coordinator, the appoinitee holds responsibility for the administration associated with a growing fundraising and philanthropy function. In this crucial support role, you will ensure that the Development & Alumni Manager and Alumni Officer have the operational stability required to build relationships and secure investment. This position will be responsible for managing the essential systems, data, and processes that underpin every successful donation and partnership. From processing gifts and reconciling finances to coordinating high-level donor meetings and conducting background research, your organisational skills will directly enable the team to meet its ambitious targets.
