Job summary

The Electricity Supply Board (ESB) is seeking a Project Supervisor Design Stage (PSDP) Safety Coordinator to lead PSDP activities within Networks Engineering. Based in Dublin or Cork, you will guide project teams on health and safety obligations, prepare safety plans and ensure compliance with Construction Regulations 2013.

You will liaise with stakeholders, appoint and assess PSDP contractors, and drive continuous safety governance across projects, with travel to sites as required.

Qualifications

• Level 8 in Engineering, Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
• In depth understanding of the Construction Regulations 2013 and the PSDP role.
• Diploma or similar qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Experience working in health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead PSDP function across Networks Engineering projects.
• Provide guidance on PSDP responsibilities and best practice.
• Ensure compliance with Construction Regulations 2013 and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain PSDP-related documentation and records.
