Job summary

EHS International in Cork, Ireland is seeking an experienced PSCS Safety Coordinator to oversee safety during the construction phase. You will ensure compliance with the Construction Regulations 2013 and coordinate safety and health matters on site.

You will develop and update the Construction Stage Safety and Health Plan, supervise contractors, monitor safety procedures, and report incidents to the HSA. Strong leadership and communication are essential, with proficiency in safety software.

Qualifications

• A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Professional certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar construction safety leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of Construction Regulations 2013.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update the Construction Stage Safety and Health Plan.
• Coordinate the implementation of Construction Regulations on site.
• Ensure all contractors comply with safety procedures and training.
• Monitor site safety, conduct regular inspections and report incidents to HSA.
• Coordinate SafePass and CSCS cards where applicable.
