Sanderson Recruitment (Ireland) Limited are sourcing an experienced Architectural Design Manager for a Galway project. You will lead design activities within a modern methods of construction environment, guiding projects from concept through delivery and ensuring high quality design solutions meet client requirements and timelines.

We seek a degree-qualified professional with 7+ years in offsite or design environments, strong Revit/AutoCAD skills and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Technology, Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture (NFQ Level 7+).
• Min 7 years' experience in Tier 1/2 construction, modular/offsite contexts or design consultancy.
• Proven leadership of design teams and strong client/stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead design activities within a modern methods of construction environment. This role offers the opportunity to influence projects from concept through delivery, ensuring high quality design solutions that meet client requirements, project objectives and programme deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Profile

• Degree qualification (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in Architectural Technology, Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Min 7 years' experience within Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction, modular construction, offsite construction or design consultancy environments.
• Previous experience leading and managing design teams.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organised with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving capability and commercial awareness.
• Experience managing budgets and multiple project priorities.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams.
