ICDS Recruitment Consultants Ltd. in Limerick is partnering with a leading property developer to appoint an experienced Design Manager.

You will oversee the design delivery of major new-build housing and apartment developments valued up to roughly €20m across Ireland and the UK, coordinating design teams, consultants and contractors. The role demands strong technical understanding and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with building

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Design Management role within construction.
• Strong experience with residential, housing or apartment developments.
• Relevant construction, engineering or architectural qualification.
• Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the design process from pre-construction through to completion.
• Lead and coordinate design teams, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure designs are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Review and manage design information, drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Identify and resolve design issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with construction and commercial teams to ensure effective project delivery.
• Attend design and project meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, standards and project requirements.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Design Manager to join a leading property developer and main contractor, based from their new modern headquarters in Limerick.

The successful candidate will play a key role within the senior team, overseeing the design delivery of major new-build housing and apartment developments valued up to c. €20m, across Ireland and the UK.

The Role
