Job summary

Falcon Green seeks a Design Manager with 5+ years’ experience to lead multidisciplinary design teams on large residential and commercial projects in Ireland, up to €50M+ build value. You must be eligible to work in Ireland/EU.

Ideal candidates will have a main contracting or developer background, with strong leadership, technical management, communication, and a track record delivering on deadlines while prioritising health and safety, quality, programme, and commercial return.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a design manager.
• Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams across large-scale construction projects.
• Responsible for the technical management of the building project.
• Capable of managing multidisciplinary teams, experienced in dealing with design team and other third parties and have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• The ability to work to deadlines and an appreciation for health and safety, quality, programme and commercial return.
• Degree level qualification in engineering, construction management, architecture or related subject; post graduate qualifications and/or membership of a relevant professional institute such as Engineers Ireland is desirable.

Ideal candidates will come from main contracting or developer background and have worked on large residential apartments / commercial projects up to €50M+ build value. Candidates must also be fully eligible to work in Ireland / EU.
