Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Deputy MLRO to lead AML/CTF compliance across international entities, including Ireland and Bermuda. You will manage day-to-day operations, regulatory filings, and governance reporting while ensuring responsible AI use with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency and risk management.

The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer/MLRO and requires extensive experience in cross-jurisdictional regulatory environments, strong collaboration with Legal and Operations,

Qualifications

• 6+ years in AML/CTF compliance within finance or fintech.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and STR filings.
• CDD/EDD oversight across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day AML/CTF operations with delegated authority, including monitoring and alert escalation.
• Prepare materials for AML Governance Committee meetings.
• File STRs and regulatory filings for assigned entities.
• Perform CDD/EDD reviews and escalate high-risk cases.
• Monitor Ireland and Bermuda regulatory developments and update policies.
