Job summary

The Deputy Manager at Department of Health Tasmania leads and coordinates the Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS) statewide, providing clinical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team leaders, clinicians, and administrative staff.

Working with the Statewide Manager, you will drive safe, trauma-informed support for victim-survivors, build stakeholder relationships, and ensure service delivery meets organisational standards.

Qualifications

• Allied health qualification and registration with the relevant board.
• Significant experience in Family Violence Support Services.
• Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical leadership, mentoring, and professional support to Team Leaders, clinicians, and administrative staff within FVCSS.
• Support the Statewide Manager, in coordinating, developing, and delivering statewide services for trauma-informed support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen service delivery.
