Job summary

The Tasmanian Department of Health seeks an Alcohol and Other Drug Clinical Lead to guide the ADS North service. You will drive clinical leadership across a multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality ATOD care in line with strategic aims and clinical guidelines.

You will support the Team Leader in overseeing key clinical processes, supervise staff, and contribute to continuous quality and safety improvements while working within a supportive health system in Tasmania.

Qualifications

• Coordination/leadership role in a multidisciplinary AOD service with supervision.
• Knowledge of evidence‑based practice for alcohol and other drug treatment.
• Experience contributing to quality and safety processes at service level.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and management of a multidisciplinary ATOD service.
• Oversee intake, crisis response, interim support and team coordination.
• Lead line and performance management of staff within ADS North.
