Job summary

Emerald Airlines is seeking a Flight Support Administrator and Deputy EFB Administrator based at our airside facility at Dublin Airport. Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, you will support aircraft performance, EFB systems, and flight ops processes in a dynamic, expanding airline environment.

The role requires attention to detail, strong IT skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, including deputising for the Flight Support Specialist and EFB

Qualifications

• Holder of or undertaking a relevant degree.
• Pass a 5-year background check and have permission to live and work in Ireland.
• Working in an aviation related environment preferred.
• Proactive work ethic and ability to work on own initiative.
• Knowledge of Apple iPad & iOS systems and EFB requirements desirable.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Performance: Reviewing and auditing aircraft performance charts for destinations and alternates as required.
• Reviewing / amending aircraft performance application (GURU 2).
• Dispatching, reviewing and amending aircraft performance manuals (Orlando).
• Monthly audit of flight files and documents.
• Aircraft modifications: Review of aircraft modifications when notified with respect to aircraft performance and weight & balance.
• Monitoring of NOTAMS for changes in runway declared distances, obstacles etc.
• Weight & Balance: Assist with weight and balance topics as required.
• Assist the EFB Administrator in their duties such as hardware and software configuration of the device; control and tracking of devices and stock; provide training and support to management and EFB users; deputise in absence of the Flight Support Specialist and EFB Administrator.
• Other duties as assigned by the DFO.

The Role We are currently looking to recruit a Flight Support Administrator and Deputy EFB Administrator, based at our airside facility in Dublin Airport. Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, this role is a unique opportunity to join the Flight Ops team of Ireland's newest airline, Emerald Airlines. This is an exciting role for an ambitious individual with huge potential to develop and grow with the airline. The successful candidate will possess aircraft performance skills and knowledge of associated flight ops systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Holder of or undertaking a relevant degree.
• Must be able to pass a 5-year background check and have permission to live and work in Ireland without restriction
• Working in an aviation related environment
• Proactive work ethic and ability to work on own initiative
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong computer skills - Experience using Microsoft Suite
• Candidate with knowledge of Airline Ops systems and processes will be at a distinct advantage.
• Experience in providing application support to end users (desirable but not essential)
• Knowledge of Apple iPad & iOS systems (Knowledge of applicable EFB requirements and regulations, is desirable)
• Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• High degree of professional / personal flexibility
