Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a candidate for a role in Depositary Operations in Ireland. The position focuses on ensuring oversight under AIFMD, UCITS V and other regulatory requirements, with primary responsibilities in Depositary Operations.

The successful candidate will engage with Investment Managers, source and validate documents, perform asset verification, and support daily processes while contributing to governance and reporting for clients.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of the Funds Industry is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external parties.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team.
• Good problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret information from Investment Managers to understand an Alternative investment.
• Coordinate sourcing executed documentation & validate documentation.
• Perform Asset Verification activities and verify ownership for Other Assets.
• Support the team with daily processes & mailbox maintenance.
• Participate in meetings with internal and external parties.
• Suggest improvements on processes and governance procedures.
• Gather data for reporting for internal and external clients.
