Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a candidate for a role in Depositary Operations in Ireland. The position focuses on ensuring oversight under AIFMD, UCITS V and other regulatory requirements, with primary responsibilities in Depositary Operations.

The successful candidate will engage with Investment Managers, source and validate documents, perform asset verification, and support daily processes while contributing to governance and reporting for clients.

Role/ Department:

The role is within Depositary Operations helping to ensure that Northern Trust fulfils its oversight responsibilities under the Alternative Investment Fund Management Directive (AIFMD), UCITS V and other regulatory requirements.

The primary responsibilities will be in Depositary Operations.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Interpret information from Investment Managers to gain understanding of an Alternative investment;
• Coordinate sourcing executed documentation & validate documentation and information;
• Perform and review Asset Verification activities, sourcing appropriate documentation to verify ownership of the Fund over "Other Assets";
• Support the team by actioning various daily processes & team mailbox maintenance;
• Participate on meetings with relevant internal and external parties;
• Ability to suggest improvements on processes;
• Participating in ensuring governance procedures are being adhered to;
• Gathering data for reporting requirements for both internal and external clients.
