Job summary

ARKET is seeking a Department Manager in our Ireland store to lead a dedicated team and shape exceptional customer experiences. You will drive service standards, analyze sales and collaborate with Store Manager to optimise department performance, while ensuring brand consistency on the shop floor.

You’ll oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training, nurture talent, and occasionally step into Store Manager duties to maintain leadership continuity. The role is full-time (39 hours/week) in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably fashion, with strong customer service.
• Ability to lead by example and deliver high service standards.
• Open to feedback and personal/professional development.
• Clear direction and constructive feedback in team settings.
• Flexible to varied hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high level of customer service with styling advice and product knowledge.
• Analyse sales data and collaborate to maximise department performance.
• Lead and motivate a team of Sales Advisors to meet service standards.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training for new team members.
• Identify future talent and contribute to development plans.
• Oversee daily store operations and ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Act as a brand ambassador, delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Step into Store Manager role when required to ensure leadership continuity.
