Job summary

Engage People Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex technology and business change initiatives from scoping through to implementation and post-go-live support. The role is a 12-month day-rate contract based onsite in South Dublin, requiring 2-3 days on site weekly with senior stakeholders, vendors and business users.

You will manage scope, budget, timelines, quality and risk while delivering agreed business outcomes in a matrix environment, balancing priorities

Qualifications

• 5+ years' Project Management experience, ideally across large, complex or multi-location projects.
• Strong experience delivering projects within Agile environments.
• Proven experience delivering complex technology solutions, particularly within legacy IT environments.
• Experience managing system integration and technology transformation projects.
• Good understanding of product development and design, with experience working alongside product or design teams.
• Strong customer, vendor and stakeholder management experience within matrix organisations.
• Scrum Master experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through the full delivery lifecycle, including scoping, business case development, requirements, design, build, testing, business readiness, deployment and service transition.
• Develop detailed project plans, establish key milestones and track delivery against agreed objectives.
• Select and adapt appropriate delivery methodologies, including Agile, Scrum and Waterfall, depending on the project environment.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change, escalating where appropriate.
• Provide clear and accurate project reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Facilitate decision-making and ensure the right stakeholders are engaged at critical stages.
• Manage relationships across business, technology, customer and vendor teams within a matrix environment.
• Balance competing priorities across scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk.
• Ensure appropriate business readiness and support successful transition into live operations.
• Maintain compliance with relevant project management methodologies, governance and organisational standards.
• Support the development and refinement of business cases and preferred technology solutions where required.
