Job summary

Avoca Dunboyne is seeking a Part-time Stock/Yard Assistant to support stock control, goods inwards and yard duties at the Dunboyne store in Ireland.

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment as part of a team, maintaining accurate stock and a tidy yard and car park while upholding Avoca's high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy and adherence to high service standards.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability are essential.
• Effective teamwork and communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Stock control for deliveries coming in from External Deliveries.
• Check stock on delivery and process into the correct department.
• Goods inwards and outwards handling and recording.
• Maintain a clean and organised stock room.
• Stock rotation and date checks.
• Yard keeping duties: keep delivery yard and customer car park clean and tidy.

Description of the role:

The opportunity has arisen for a Part time Stock/Yard Assistant to work in Avoca Dunboyne.

This is a part time permanent position with an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Stock control coming in through External Deliveries
• Checking stock delivered and processing into the correct department
• Ad-hoc duties as determined by the Manager
• Goods inwards and outwards
• Maintaining a clean and organised stock room
• Stock rotation & date checks
• Yard keeping duties, keeping delivery yard and customer car park clean and tidy at all times

Requirements

• Experience working as part of a team In a fast paced environment.
• Experience working in a physically demanding environment
• Excellent timekeeping
• Effective teamwork and communication skills is essential
• Experience in a warehouse environment is a distinct advantage
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Experience in cycle counting and full stock takes.
• Manual Handling knowledge or experience is desirable
• Good attention to detail, accuracy and adhering to Avoca's high standard of service
• Goods inwards & outwards experience
• Meridian Epos knowledge preferable
