Job summary

FRS Recruitment is seeking a Deli Manager for a supermarket in Co. Clare to lead the fresh-food deli team, ensure high food-safety standards, and drive sales.

The successful candidate will manage staff, inventory and budgets, maintain HACCP compliance, handle waste management, and provide training and recruitment support to the department.

Accommodation can be supplied if needed. Must have a valid Irish work permit, as sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of fresh food deli management experience.
• Experience in ordering and managing waste.
• Must have up-to-date HACCP and food safety training.
• Self-motivated with a passion for food service.
• Has experience managing ten or more staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of employees to improve sales performance.
• Manage product storage and rotation.
• Assist in inventory and sales budgets preparation.
• Control staff costs and prepare rosters.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring and training staff.
• Respond to queries or complaints.
• Ensure all follow company policies and procedures.
• Ensure products are properly labelled.
• Oversee and ensure that facilities are maintained neat, clean and safe at all times.
• Other duties as required.
