Job summary

Aramark Ireland in Galway invites applications for a Deli Assistant at our Parkmore facility. You will support meal production and deliver friendly, customer-focused service to colleagues in the medical device factory environment.

The role emphasises food safety, HACCP adherence, and a positive attitude. 20 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, evenings 4:30pm to 9:45pm, with benefits including uniform and meals on site.

Qualifications

• Current work permit for Ireland (Galway) – sponsorship not offered.
• Desirable familiarity with HACCP and food hygiene practices.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food hygiene regulations and HACCP procedures are followed.
• Prepare and serve food in line with HACCP/food hygiene rules.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy; undertake deep cleans as required.
• Work proactively and deliver excellent customer service.
• Manage stock rotation and assist with duties to keep operations running smoothly.

Job description

As a Deli Assistant within our team here in Parkmore Industrial Estate, Galway, you will be helping us to deliver our catering services to those working in a medical device factory. This position can be very rewarding for the right candidate, helping deliver meal production and positive and engaging customer service. Our interactions contribute hugely to the experience of those using our restaurants, and we aim to improve each customer's day through our interactions. The successful candidate must have great customer service skills and a flair for food.

Your responsibilities:

• To ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular, our following our HACCP system
• Be responsible for the food preparation and service in line with HACCP / Food Hygiene procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, deep clean duties
• Have the ability to work on your own initiative
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ensure Stock rotation
• Ensure all work areas is clean and tidy
• Complete other reasonable duties assigned by your line manager from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department.

You must have:

Current work permit, in date, and available to work in Galway Ireland (WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP SO PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE RELEVANT PERMITS)

• Have high personal standards, with attention to detail
• Be a team player with great customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP is desirable.
• Keen interest in developing food preparation skills and culinary knowledge
