Job summary

Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny is seeking a reliable Day Porter to support day-to-day hotel operations. You will assist guests, Front Office and F&B teams, and maintain public areas to a high standard throughout the day.

The role requires a friendly, approachable candidate who can adapt across departments and help during busy periods, including breakfast service. Daytime shifts with occasional weekend coverage. Pay: €14.15-€15.50 per hour.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Flexible and willing to assist across hotel departments.
• Reliable, punctual and well presented with a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Assist with luggage, directions and general enquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas.
• Support reception and duty management with guest requests.
• Assist with breakfast service during busy periods.
• Help with meeting rooms setup and general hotel operations.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
