Job summary

SSA Group is recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer to work on a landmark Datacentre project in the Netherlands. This permanent role offers the chance to join a leading M&E contractor with exposure to high-profile European projects.

You will deliver health and safety guidance, conduct inductions and site inspections, and drive compliance with HSQE policies while supporting the client with a complete Safety File and ongoing safety programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Health & Safety experience.
• Datacentre experience preferable.
• Hold a relevant qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver general advice and direction on health and safety to all stakeholders.
• Deliver induction training for health and safety.
• Ensure compliance with HSQE policies, procedures and systems.
• Promote method statements, safety plans and toolbox talks.
• Compile the Safety File and prepare the Client for delivery.
• Promote a safe and incident-free workplace and review corrective actions.
• Conduct routine site audits and inspections and report results to senior management.
• Continuously communicate with senior management.
