Job summary

G MASS Consulting seeks an experienced Databricks Technical Lead to own strategic data platforms and cloud-based applications in a financial services setting. You will define architecture across Databricks and AWS, ensuring scalable and secure development, and oversee delivery across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Enterprise SDLC experience in financial services environments.
• Strong hands-on Databricks experience including Spark/PySpark and Delta Lake.
• Proficiency with Python and/or Scala and Databricks SQL.
• Experience with Unity Catalog and data governance in regulated settings.
• Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD with Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and ownership of strategic data platforms across Databricks and AWS.
• Define technical direction, architecture, and secure development practices.
• Oversee delivery through the full software development lifecycle with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and promote best practices.
• Drive CI/CD improvements and ensure scalable, reliable cloud/on-premise solutions.
