Job summary

Citco is seeking a DataBricks Expert to lead technical ownership of banking products on DataBricks and AWS cloud. You will drive architecture, mentor developers, and collaborate with BA, QA, IT security and enterprise architecture to ensure end-to-end delivery.

The role emphasizes data-led ML/AI solutions, scalable CI/CD, and maintaining robust documentation. A strong banking/financial services background is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on enterprise SDLC experience.
• 3+ years in financial services; 1+ years in banking.
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS, IAM).
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency with React (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
• Commitment to clean code, security best practices, and maintainable infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks with limited direction.
• Good communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of critical banking product(s) and modules across DataBricks Platform.
• Technical ownership of critical banking product(s) and modules across AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Deliver data-led solutions using Machine Learning and AI tools.
• Maintain systems documentation and knowledge base.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews.
• Define architecture requirements considering throughput, latency, and reliability.
• Drive CI/CD practices for cloud and on‑premise deployments.
• Champion clean code principles and AI-assisted coding tools.
