Job summary

The Citco Group Limited is seeking a DataBricks Expert to join Citco IT as a senior developer responsible for technical ownership of banking products within the DataBricks platform. The candidate will drive architecture, mentor developers, and collaborate with analysis, QA, and security teams to ensure delivery from analysis through production and support.

The role focuses on AWS cloud development, implementing ML/AI data-led solutions, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years enterprise SDLC experience.
• 3+ years in financial services; 1+ years in banking.
• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, IAM).
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency with React (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
• Commitment to clean code, security best practices, and maintainable infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's desired.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of banking product(s) and modules across DataBricks Platform.
• Technical ownership across AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Deliver data-led solutions using ML and AI tools.
• Maintain systems documentation and knowledge base.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews.
• Define architecture requirements for throughput, latency, and reliability.
• Drive CI/CD practices for cloud and on-premise deployments.
• Champion clean code and AI-assisted coding tools in development.
