Job summary

Davy Group in Ireland's leading wealth management business is seeking a data analyst to join the Data and Analytics Centre of Excellence. You will migrate legacy data to Snowflake, run analyses, and partner with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance, Marketing and Investments to deliver data products.

You will create visual analytics with Power BI, contribute to data product design, and help raise data literacy across the organisation while maintaining metadata and data quality frameworks.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a data/analytics role, ideally in financial services or a similarly regulated industry.
• Strong fluency in Excel & SQL and experience working with large datasets.
• Solid understanding of Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
• Exposure to data modelling best practices and schema design.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or equivalent data science tools is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Effective communication and documentation skills with a natural curiosity and a drive to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration of legacy data assets to Snowflake, ensuring fidelity and efficiency.
• Design and execute exploratory and statistical analyses to uncover business insights.
• Partner with business units across Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Investments to deliver data products and solutions.
• Prototype and deliver compelling visual analytics via Power BI.
• Contribute to the design and development of data products.
• Champion data literacy across the organization through ad-hoc training or support.
• Document metadata, maintain data lineage, and support data quality frameworks.
