Job summary

Darwin Hawkins is seeking a Finance Data & Reporting Manager in Dublin to lead data-driven reporting and analytics within an investment management environment. The role partners with senior Finance stakeholders to automate processes, improve data quality, and turn complex data into actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Power BI development skills, data modelling expertise (DAX/Power Query), and experience in executive-level reporting.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in Finance BI/Data Analytics.
• Strong Finance, BI or Data Analytics background.
• Advanced Power BI development skills.
• Experience with data modelling, DAX and Power Query.
• Experience in management information and executive-level reporting.
• Strong data governance and data quality capabilities.
• Snowflake experience advantageous.
• SQL and Python experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Support financial analysis, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Develop Finance data models in Snowflake, ensuring data quality and controls.
• Develop robust data models and reporting datasets, identifying trends and opportunities.
• Develop KPI dashboards and performance reporting frameworks for senior stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain data standards, quality controls and reporting best practices.
• Automate manual reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Utilise Power BI, Power Query and DAX, with exposure to Snowflake, SQL and Python.
• Transform complex financial and operational data into actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and controls through automation and digitisation.

Role and Reporting Lines

Working closely with senior Finance stakeholders, responsibilities will include:

• Business Intelligence – Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions
• Management Reporting – Support financial analysis, variance analysis and management reporting
• Data Management – Support the development and management of Finance data within Snowflake, including data quality and controls
• Data Analytics – Develop robust data models and reporting datasets, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
• Executive Reporting – Develop KPI dashboards and performance reporting frameworks for senior stakeholders
• Data Governance – Establish and maintain data standards, quality controls and reporting best practices
• Automation – Automate manual reporting and reconciliation processes
• Finance Technology – Utilise Power BI, Power Query and DAX, with exposure to Snowflake, SQL and Python
