Job summary

Allianz Ireland is seeking a Data Products Manager to own a portfolio of data products, dashboards and data services within the Data Insights Team in Dublin. You will translate business needs into well-defined data products and drive value from the company’s data strategy.

Collaborate with engineers and analysts to plan and deliver increments using agile methods, shaping the roadmap and measuring impact with clear success metrics.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of General Insurance Property & Casualty data and operations.
• Solid understanding of data concepts including data modelling and data governance.
• Experience with BI tools and data warehousing/lakehouse platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence across business functions.
• Strong organisational and change management skills, with ability to prioritise and work independently.
• Strong story-telling/presentation skills to articulate data product value to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with AI and Machine Learning use cases is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver a portfolio of data products aligned with Allianz Ireland’s objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data use cases and define requirements.
• Shape vision, strategy and roadmap for the data product portfolio and report to the Data & AI Steering Board.
• Work with Data Engineers and Analysts to plan and deliver increments using agile methods.
• Develop and enhance dashboards and performance reports with accurate, timely data.
• Define success measures for data products and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote data asset reuse by developing shared definitions and standards.
