Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions (Europe) Limited Company in Dublin, Ireland, seeks a Principal Data Scientist to lead advanced data science, ML, and Generative AI initiatives that solve insurance challenges. You will contribute as an individual contributor and senior technical leader across multiple teams to shape product roadmaps and scalable ML workflows.

You will work with cross-functional partners, mentor data scientists, and communicate complex analyses to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R with production ML experience.
• 3+ years building predictive models into production environments.
• Experience with data processing and diverse data formats (Parquet/JSON/XML).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and build robust data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and familiarity with relational/non-relational databases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience mentoring others and leading technical workstreams.
• Knowledge of MLOps, Azure ML, Databricks and cloud infrastructure.

• Lead across multiple projects and act as data science expert.
