Job summary

Allianz Partners is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Underwriting Technical Transformation team, focused on data-driven decision making for underwriting and pricing in health insurance. The role centers on building centralized analytics, collaborating with Data Science, Pricing and Underwriting to deliver insights and robust data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in insurance/healthcare sectors.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Strong SQL skills and optimization experience.
• Experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboards.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts; familiarity with version control (Git).
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the build and delivery of a roadmap to modernize the data environment for commercial success.
• Design, construct and maintain data for the business.
• Build production-grade data pipelines for ETL processes.
• Coordinate data projects across teams with varying complexity.
• Partner with Data Program and Data Science to develop reports and dashboards (Power BI).
• Interpret business MI requirements and translate into solutions.
• Communicate with stakeholders and manage expectations.
