Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a data-focused BI/Analytics professional in Ireland to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and platform architecture. The role collaborates with analysts, technical teams and stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable and optimised for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities include coding BI developments, writing SQL and ETL jobs, and aiding in migrating on-prem workloads to GCP BigQuery. Strong communication and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL frameworks such as Hadoop.

Responsibilities

• Code BI/Analytics developments and enhancements per design standards.
• Write SQL queries and ETL jobs to manage data loads.
• Assist in migrating on-prem workloads to GCP BigQuery.
• Provide data expertise to business users of BI systems.
• Collaborate with testers and project leads to track functionality and timelines.
• Perform root-cause analysis of live issues and propose fixes.
