Job summary

DOCOsoft is seeking a Data Migration Engineer to own all aspects of customer data migrations into the Vew platform. You will analyze databases and legacy systems, design mappings, and develop tooling in C#/.NET to ensure repeatable, auditable migrations.

The role emphasizes data quality, validation and close collaboration with customers, solution architects and engineering teams. You will drive continuous improvement of migration tooling and processes, delivering high-quality outcomes during

Qualifications

• 5+ years in database engineering, software engineering or data migration with production migrations.
• Expert SQL / T-SQL skills including data transformation and performance troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, large datasets and data integrity.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end data migrations from discovery to production cutover.
• Experience with Azure, APIs and data formats (JSON, CSV, XML).
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical analysis, design, execution and validation of customer data migrations into Vew.
• Analyse customer databases, schemas and legacy systems for data discovery and mapping.
• Design migration approaches, transformation rules, mappings and validation strategies.
• Write and optimise complex SQL to extract, transform, validate and reconcile data.
• Develop and maintain C#/.NET migration tooling and automation.
• Plan repeatable migration dry runs, production cutovers and post-migration reconciliation.
• Diagnose and resolve data quality issues and migration failures.
• Act as technical migration contact for customers and collaborate with internal teams.
