Job summary

St James’s Hospital is seeking a Data Manager to provide a comprehensive data management service to the National Burns Unit. You will ensure clinical, operational and administrative data are accurate, validated and ready for analysis to support patient care and national reporting.

As a hands-on data practitioner and first-line manager, you will own Burns data flows and reporting products and contribute to shaping data governance and performance measurement for Burns services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data practitioner with strong data management experience.
• Experience in data quality, validation and reporting.
• Ability to design and implement data governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive data management for the National Burns Unit, ensuring data are accurate, current and secure.
• Own the quality and timeliness of Burns data flows and reporting products.
• Support patient care, statutory reporting, service evaluation and planning through high-quality data governance and reporting.
