Job summary

STO Building Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced MEP Project Engineer to join our data centre team. You will coordinate and deliver MEP systems across large-scale, mission-critical projects from design through handover.

Working with project managers, design teams and suppliers, you will ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence, reviewing drawings and technical submissions and resolving design clashes to keep programmes on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience as MEP Project Engineer or similar on data centres.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and technical submissions.
• Knowledge of BIM tools and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage MEP delivery across complex data centre projects.
• Support Project Manager with planning, execution and milestones.
• Coordinate interfaces between mechanical, electrical, public health, architectural, structural and specialist systems.
• Review drawings, specifications and design information for compliance.
• Identify risks, design clashes and coordination issues and provide solutions.
• Attend design, technical and progress meetings and coordinate changes.
• Ensure health, safety and quality on site.
