Job summary

Designer Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our operations team in Dublin, supporting delivery of a major live data centre project for a leading global technology client. This site-based role requires strong electrical project management experience in M&E contracting, with ownership of delivery from planning through handover.

You will coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and client-side stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while upholding

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in electrical project management within M&E contracting.
Experience delivering large-scale electrical projects from construction to handover.
Strong knowledge of electrical building services and site coordination.
Experience managing subcontractors and site-based teams.
Ability to manage programme, procurement, RFIs and progress reporting.
Strong commercial awareness and safety compliance.
Ability to live and work in Ireland without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of electrical works on a major Dublin-based data centre project.
Manage site teams, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
Drive programme delivery, ensuring milestones are achieved and risks are identified early.
Work closely with the Project QS to manage commercial performance, cost control, variations and project reporting.
Support procurement planning, technical submittals, RFIs, material approvals and subcontractor coordination.
Review design information and work with engineering teams to resolve buildability, coordination and installation issues.
Chair and attend project meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives.
Monitor labour, materials, plant and resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
Ensure works are completed in line with quality standards, commissioning requirements and handover expectations.
Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Promote and uphold Designer Group’s health, safety, quality and environmental standards at all times.
