Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Associate/Principal Mechanical Engineer for Data Centre Facilities in Ireland. You will lead mechanical design delivery for iconic datacentre projects, coordinating with electrical engineers and guiding junior team members.

Responsibilities include delivering cooling, ventilation, automation and control systems, applying building physics and CFD insights, and ensuring high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Qualified Engineer with demonstrable track record in discipline.
• Experience with mission critical systems within datacentre or similar industries.
• Accredited degree or equivalent with professional progression.

Responsibilities

• Lead role representing Ramboll on Datacentre projects and manage engineers.
• Drive project delivery with minimal supervision on technical aspects.
• Develop solutions using CAD/Bluebeam and BIM collaboration.
• Complete detailed designs and supervise colleagues.
• Inspire client confidence and manage timelines.
• Coordinate tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
