Job summary

Specialist Fire Protection Engineering Contractor in Co Dublin is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to coordinate the fire protection package on a major data centre project, working with design, installation, client and site teams to deliver on time and to the required standards.

You will hold a mechanical engineering qualification and have proven project engineering experience in mechanical construction or building services; a full driving licence is essential, and AutoCAD/BIM experience is

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering qualification or relevant mechanical background.
• Proven project engineering experience in mechanical construction or building services.
• Comfort coordinating mechanical installations on large construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the fire protection package on site.
• Review drawings, specifications and submittals.
• Coordinate installation requirements with site and design teams.
• Manage procurement and material requirements.
• Monitor programme, quality and project progress.
• Resolve technical and site coordination issues.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover.
