Reboot Monkey in Carlow, Ireland is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our on-site team. This full-time role supports critical infrastructure at our world-class facilities, with on-call rotations and shift differentials where applicable.

You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, perform structured cabling, monitor environmental systems, and collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure uptime and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
• Support on-call rotations and shift work.

Work Schedule

• Full-time permanent position
• Standard business hours with on-call rotation
• Shift differentials for nights/weekends when applicable

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security)
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshootingMaintain accurate documentation and asset tracking
