Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Lead Technician in Dublin to prioritize a customer-first approach and ensure timely planning and delivery of requests. The LT supports training of Data Center Technicians and acts as a primary contact for the team.

The role provides technical leadership, oversees operations, monitors SLAs, and coordinates service requests with Site Management, ensuring safety and compliance across the data center environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, IT or electrotechnical environments.
• Strong problem analysis and RCA capability.
• Excellent customer communication and handling of requests/complaints.
• Experience in team management, resource planning, coaching, training and supervising staff.
• Proactive, self-managed and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure adherence to safety policies, operational efficiency and core values.
• Provide technical leadership and oversee site operations to meet industry standards.
• Supervise and mentor technicians, facilitating their training and development.
• Deliver advanced technical customer service support and prioritize service requests.
• Collaborate with Site Management to identify efficiencies, innovations and plant optimization.
• Manage compliance, administration and documentation, ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Act as single point of contact for customer service requests and communicate with stakeholders.
