Job summary

Astreya is seeking an Incident Response Analyst to join the Incident Response Center (IRC) in Ireland. You will monitor data center infrastructure around the clock, perform first-level analysis, triage alerts, and escalate incidents to cross-functional teams to ensure service availability and security.

This role requires strong communication, ability to work in 24/7 shifts, and familiarity with ITSM tools like Jira.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2-5 years in data center ops, NOC/SOC, monitoring, or incident management.
Basic network fundamentals and server/hardware knowledge.
Ability to interpret alerts, perform initial triage, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Monitor data center infrastructure alarms across network and server devices, hardware health, WAN circuits, and environmental systems.
Monitor OCI/cloud dashboards and monitoring tools for health and availability.
Assess external risks that may impact operations.
Review CCTV for security events within facilities.
Validate, investigate, and analyze alerts to determine impact and urgency.
Create and manage incident tickets using Jira or ITSM platforms.
Escalate incidents to cross-functional teams.
Communicate incident updates via Everbridge and email.
Prepare PIRs and maintain incident records and handover notes.
Review vendor communications regarding maintenance and changes.
Maintain SOPs and knowledge base articles.
