Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer III for a remote Ireland role. You will own RCA for P1/P2 incidents, build Terraform-based IaC, and drive DR testing and cost optimization across AWS and Azure.

You’ll mentor engineers, document runbooks, and ensure security baselines are followed. The position requires 4–7 years in cloud infra or SRE, strong scripting skills, and the ability to relocate India → Ireland.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS and Azure.
• Terraform IaC experience.
• Scripting in Python or Go.
• Networking and cloud security fundamentals.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Experience leading RCA and incident response for production systems.
• Excellent written communication and runbook development skills.
• Willingness to relocate for India then Ireland assignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for P1/P2 incidents across AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code modules (Terraform) and CI/CD components.
• Own disaster recovery testing and backup validation for assigned systems.
• Support reliability and performance with advanced monitoring and on-call rotation.
• Drive incident response, document findings, and lead post-incident reviews.
• Apply cloud security best practices in collaboration with security teams.
• Mentor junior engineers on IaC, runbooks, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and reference architectures.
