Alternative Heat Ltd seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Dundalk-based team supporting data center projects. You will develop electrical design drawings, specify plant and cabling routes, and contribute to tender packages.

Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate with the design, contracts, and commissioning teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role offers opportunities to grow within a progressive, dynamic company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design drawings, plant selections, cabling routes and installation specifications throughout all stages of a project.
• Develop project-specific BMS control panel drawings and descriptions of operation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
• Attend design meetings and coordinate with contracts managers and commissioning teams to support the commissioning process and optimise BMS controls.
