Job summary

Tirlán is hiring a Maintenance Technician based in Belview, South Kilkenny, to support Kilkenny Cheese operations and the maintenance strategy. You will work with production teams to maximize plant readiness and reliability in a 24x7 environment.

We seek a candidate with at least 2 years in manufacturing maintenance, comfortable with mechanical and electrical systems, and familiar with GMP practices. Strong problem-solving and communication are essential to succeed in this fast-paced food

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum manufacturing experience, preferably in a maintenance environment within a food/drink facility.
• Comfort working with both mechanical & electrical elements of automated manufacturing plant.
• GMP knowledge and strong safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operational Support: maximise plant readiness and efficiency through reduced downtime and improved OEE.
• Preventative Maintenance: support and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Address opportunities to improve plant and maintenance team performance and safety.
• Utilise structured problem-solving to deliver robust long-term solutions.
• Health, Safety & Quality: ensure GMP adherence and safe, controlled work environments.
