Job summary

Lakeland Dairies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of production equipment. You will perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance to maximise availability and performance on the production floor.

Key duties include diagnosing faults, recording activities in CMMS, and supporting continuous improvement with strong attention to safety and quality standards. Manufacturing experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A relevant mechanical qualification is required.
• Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.
• Strong Excel and general computer literacy.
• Experience using CMMS to manage assets and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to maximise equipment availability.
• Diagnose faults and perform effective troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Record maintenance activities accurately using CMMS.
• Adhere to safety, GMP, environmental and regulatory procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis on the production floor.
