Job summary

Electricity Supply Board (ESB) is seeking a Cybersecurity Engagement & Awareness Lead in Dublin. The role focuses on shaping cybersecurity delivery to meet business goals, driving change and embedding awareness across ESB and its partners.

The candidate will lead training, reporting and capability development, collaborating with security teams, business units and regulators to strengthen cyber resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in engagement, change and awareness programmes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence change.
• Ability to translate self-learning into culture and change programmes.
• Strong organisational, analytical and project management skills.
• Familiarity with Operational Resilience, BC/CR or IR/cyber threat landscape.
• Third-level degree and professional cybersecurity certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve the cybersecurity engagement and awareness program to support behaviours through policies and requirements.
• Support readiness plans, exercises, escalation and resilience activities in a consistent, measurable way.
• Lead cybersecurity awareness, training, documentation and knowledge management with a champion network.
• Develop training and awareness metrics, maturity measures and senior leadership reporting.
• Provide engagement status reports to senior stakeholders, auditors and regulators.
• Contribute to exercises, testing and drive innovative delivery methods for training.
• Build relationships with regulators, industry groups and external partners.
• Support incident response through lessons learned and post-incident improvements.
• Develop and evidencing ESB's cyber resilience capability across the organisation.
