Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Head of Cybersecurity to join the senior leadership team of a large, regulated organisation in Dublin. You will shape strategic approaches to cybersecurity, technology and resilience, and lead a multidisciplinary team across industry and public/private sectors.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, monitor evolving threats and regulations, and drive policies and initiatives to strengthen organisational resilience across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in cybersecurity, technology, policy, or risk.
• Proven track record leading stakeholder engagement or policy programmes in a complex organisation.
• Strong leadership, developing multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of evolving cybersecurity and digital resilience regulations.
• Experience in regulated or highly governed environments.
• Experience leading large-scale cybersecurity or change initiatives.
• Experience developing or managing consultation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage stakeholder engagement across cybersecurity, technology and resilience programmes.
• Maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across industry and networks.
• Represent the organisation at cybersecurity forums and strategic engagements.
• Lead awareness initiatives and communications on cybersecurity and digital resilience.
• Provide expert analysis on emerging cybersecurity, regulatory and policy developments.
• Monitor landscape developments and assess potential organisational impact.
