Job summary

DSV in Naas, Co. Kildare, is seeking a Customs Assistant to support the customs division in handling NON-EU goods under DSV control and ensure entries comply with regulations.

You will liaise with customers to gather correct information, generate costings and quotations, and manage import/export declarations through to completion. The role suits proactive, target-driven individuals with Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a freight forwarding environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a target-driven team.
• Self-motivated with drive and initiative.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers to gather correct info for customs purposes.
• Produce costings and quotations.
• Liaise with Revenue to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Receive and process import documentation.
• Handle Import Customs Clearances
• Handle Export customs declarations
• Manage and monitor entries until completion
