Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the logistics and transport sector.

• Proficient in PC systems and transport operating software.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, arrange, monitor, and control all aspects of distribution planning.
• Support haulage planning across national routes.
• Ensure compliance with quality policies and KPIs.
• Carry out general administrative duties, including invoicing, filing, handling queries, claims, and cost checking in line with departmental requirements.
• Respond promptly to general enquiries, escalating issues where necessary.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, drivers, suppliers, and other offices.
• Maximise the efficient utilisation of the vehicle fleet.
• Prepare accurate documentation for the warehouse team to support the timely loading and offloading of cargo.
• Produce reports and KPIs as required.
• Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by management.
