Job summary

The Fruit People is a leading Ireland-based workplace foods provider. We are seeking a Customer Experience Coordinator to ensure exemplary service from order placement through delivery.

You will coordinate orders, manage catering requests and work with suppliers to resolve queries, creating positive experiences for customers across our diverse services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service, hospitality, catering or foodservice.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Customer Experience Coordinator

About the Role

This is not a traditional customer service position. As Customer Experience Coordinator, you will play a central role in making sure every customer receives an excellent experience from the moment they place an order through to successful delivery.

You will coordinate customer orders, manage catering requests, work closely with suppliers, resolve queries, and help create memorable experiences for customers across a wide range of workplace food and beverage services.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, attentive to detail, calm under pressure, and motivated by delivering high standards of service every day.

What You’ll Do
Customer Experience
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries by phone and email

  • Process customer orders, amendments and special requests accurately

  • Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently

  • Keep customers informed throughout the order and delivery process

  • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and service delivery

  • Great people when they arrive at The Fruit People Office

Catering Coordination & Menu Management
  • Manage catering enquiries from quotation through to delivery

  • Coordinate catering orders with suppliers to ensure quality and timeliness

  • Recommend suitable menu options based on customer needs

  • Manage dietary requirements and allergen information with care and accuracy

  • Support the development of seasonal catering menus and workplace event offerings

Customer Administration
  • Maintain accurate customer records in HubSpot

  • Support the onboarding of new customers

  • Manage recurring orders and standing instructions

  • Coordinate product rotations

  • Prepare reports for the Customer Relations team

  • Processing our Customer Manifest

  • Support out Tender Process

Customer Delight
  • Coordinate customer gifts and appreciation initiatives

  • Assist with seasonal campaigns and workplace events

  • Organise goodie bags and welcome packs

  • Support Account Managers with customer follow-up activities

  • Monthly Reporting on our Delight Moments

  • Monthly Reporting on customer checks

Commercial Awareness
  • Recognise when customers may benefit from additional products or services

  • Share relevant opportunities with the Account Manager or Coffee & Growth Specialist

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience coordinating catering or events
