Job summary

Lidl Ireland is seeking a Customer Assistant to join our team and help deliver a fantastic customer journey from head office to shop floor. On a standard 30 hour contract you’ll earn €460+ per week and rotate through morning, middle and late shifts, keeping shelves stocked and the bakery ready for opening.

You’ll interact with customers, maintain store cleanliness, follow freshness rules, and contribute to a welcoming, high-energy retail environment.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• The willingness to go the extra mile for our customers.
• Be responsible and reliable.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, varied environment.
• A good team player.
• Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but not essential if you have the right attitude.
• Must be 18+ to work in the store due to selling alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store.
• Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Following freshness and rotation principles.
• Ensuring all waste is managed correctly.
• Assisting in the stock count process.
